Energy Channel

Energy Channel distributes information on energy matters, radiation and radioactivity to decision makers and other citizen groups, especially women. The information is distributed by organising seminars, gíving lectures, producing information material, guiding visists to nuclear sites and also to some extent, by giving interviews in the media. The Energy Channel was founded in spring 1990 by seven active women working in the nuclear field. It has been established as a working group of the Finnish Nuclear Society (FNS). At present we have nearly 80 members. The actions of the Energy Channel are organised and realised mainly by the active core ? the co-ordination group consisting of ten members of the Energy Channel.
